A bit melancholy

No substantial post today, as I am feeling a bit down. Germany went out of the World Cup today. I had to watch the game at the pub because I don’t have cable, so there was a nice Brit and an Irishman who did the whole “there, there” thing when we lost. The Irishman assumed I would start weeping, so he went to grab a napkin for me to dry my eyes but for some reason it was the one napkin in the bar that was filled with salt and it splashed all over me. It was rather absurd. I didn’t weep too much over the game but I’m still pretty disappointed.
I’m sorry your team lost and even more sorry that someone threw a ton of salt on you! Well maybe a little distraction will help? I just posted Episode 9 of my podcast Knit2BTied and read Parts 1 and 2 of “The One Spinner” hopefully I pronounced everything right (not likely) and read it well enough to do it justice (eh… MAYbe) hahaha ANYway… I didn’t do any back ground music b/c I’m still a novice at the podcast thing,, but eventually I”ll have this stuff figured out. SO….. hope ya like it! =)*) I put the podcast in the website link this time instead of my blog.
