All in Good Time

A quick note, first, to people who have emailed me in the last little while: I am at home in Toronto, which means that I don’t have access to a mail server. Because I haven’t been able to log in to my web mail for the last year and this quirk continues, I won’t be able to send email until I get back on Sunday.
I visited the The Vintage Knit-Along today and found some neat patterns.
I wish I could knit these, but I find gloves too cold and the two sweaters are from the twenties. Clothes from the twenties don’t look good on curvy gals like moi. Maybe with some adjustments?

I hear you about the curvy girls problem! Frustrating. Even current fashions can be annoying. Manufacturers cheaping out on the fabric so the buttons pull across the bust is my particular pet peeve!

Yeah, you have no idea how many inter-boob creases there are in all my shirts.

Gloves are too cold? Those look like they could be knit out of some fine qiviut yarn and I doubt
Comment by Purlyou’d be complaining of cold! Maybe the price of the yarn would set you back some, but I
doubt the cold would be a worry! : )

Qiviut? Oh my goodness, I just did a cursory google search and came up with muskox! Exciting! Is it really warm? Have you knit with it before?
I’m sorry, I just love mittens! I’ve only ever found leather gloves to be warm enough, and even then, I would have loved to wear leather mittens so all my fingers could play together. Besides, it’s easier to play handpuppets with mittens.
