Socktoberfest Sockspiration #1: Holly

They’re meant to be worn around the Holidays, but I like to wear these socks year round (especially around exam time; red socks are good luck). The berries and leaves are sparkly. They’re a bit old, so the holly’s starting to look a little scraggly, but that’s because the yarn wasn’t secured properly at the back. Make sure you secure your intarsia! Secure yarn is happy yarn.
Oh by the way, I know you’ve been wondering what $115 worth of Blue Sky Alpacas Alpaca & Silk looks like, so here you go:
The colour is “Ice.” I’m afraid to touch it because it’s so luxurious.

I have this whole collection of commercial Christmas socks, but it’s too cold in December to wear them!
