Girls are Weird.

I never wear jewellery, but I want the beau to buy me some for Christmas. It’s completely unreasonable, but not uncommon. A friend of mine expressed the same thing a few days ago. Seriously, what is up with girls?
(In reality, I also want a wool winder for Christmas. But I’m not mentioning it so that when I get one, it will be a fantastically touching surprise that shows how much he understands me. In order to secure this possibility, the next time you’re in Kingston and run into a boy with an airplane t-shirt, give him the link to this post.)
Results are coming for the Liberal leadership… Seriously, they have been drawing this out for 20 minutes. OMG!

Just what kind of jewellery were you hoping for, Eve???
Comment by miss eweI’m curious to know your impressions of the Liberal outcome. I think they made a mistake…

Jewelry makes a fabulous gift for any occasion.

I love jewelry but the DH never seems to “get what I like”… so I’d rather have a gift certificate. But of course it was different back in the days when we were dating. Hope you get your wish! (leave magazine pages open and sales papers out with circled items that you like. He might notice.)

I was rooting for Rae but also pretty sure that Dion would win in the end. I said they’d vote for the middle candidate, and they did! He didn’t really have anything huge going for him, but there wasn’t anything strongly against him either. Ignatieff has no experience and he clowned around too much with the middle east to even consider being electable next year. Bob… well, Bob had Ontario on his back. The delegates seemed to be voting to minimize the maximum damage the conservatives could inflict.
That said, I think they made a good choice with Dion. He may be yet another Quebecer, but he’s intelligent and at least appears to have strong integrity. Integrity is what the Liberals need now, after Martin and Chretien decided they were going to lie around having sponsorship companies feed then grapes for 13 years.

I’m the same way. I keep saying that someday I’ll be the kind of girl who wears jewelry, but I don’t know when that might happen as I’m really just a pajamas kinda girl. Ah well. Good luck with the winder
