I want to make sexy time with this top

I am dying for this pattern. I think I’m going to buy it. I try to avoid falling in love with sweaters because it’s SO MUCH EASIER and SO MUCH CHEAPER to just knit little things, but I think this might be my first. It’s so sexy but also totally casual. I like the cap sleeves, but given that I live in Canada and Canada does not have a spring or fall (well, for now), this will have to be adapted for winter use because I refuse to sweat glow all over a handknit. I’m musing about a long ribbed sleeve with braided cables down the side. Guys, I’m totally jonesin’ for this sweater. You have no idea.
(I found it here, by the way. Danke!)
If you used a cotton/wool blend for the short sleeve version you could wear it in the Summer. Rowan has a beautiful cotton/wool blend … so yummy and wonderful to knit with.

But it gets up to 30 degrees over here! I’m so bad at wearing even tiny sleeves in the summer. There’s just no way

I agree with you, through long sleeves on it and make a sweater out of it. I am never a fan of short sleeved sweaters. Also who wants to do cables in cotton.

No kidding! I’m not the hugest fan of cotton anyway; I’ve got a yarn that’s 55% silk, 30% nylon, 12% angora, 3% lamb’s wool (weird numbers!) that I’m going to use for it. It’s beige, which is so in right now.
