Project Spectrum Blues

Laura at affiknitty reminded me that Project Spectrum is in full swing with blues, whites and greys this (di-month? bi-month? twi-month? If every three months is a quarter, can I call two months a sixth?) sixth. Fortunately, I’m knitting some blue slippers and a grey stranded scarf so I followed the rules without even realizing. To “start off” the month (I’m always a little late), here’s my blue knits from the past, the present and the future. (No ghosts, though.)
The Past
This one truly embodies Project Spectrum, if I do say so myself. Blue, grey and white all in the same scarf! I had to scrap it, though; it was a bit too scratchy, so now I’m knitting it in alpaca and it is just a DREAM. It’s like wrapping clouds around my fingers while kittens nuzzle them.
I think this was my first colour work:
The Present
I’m working on a pair of slippers, and there’s also the new Rule 30 version 2.0. Pictures will be uploaded soon.
The Future
I have plans to knit a lace top in a variegated blue, if I can find the right yarn. I’m going to use the Orangina pattern as a base, but replace the stitch pattern with Japanese Feathers. It’s a bit of a mash-up, for those of you who listen to Cast On.

Hi Eve! That blue and white fleur-de-lys type pattern is BEAUTIFUL. Your stitches are so perfect!
Glad I could be of service.
