I love the fastest woman. She’s got the hammer down! I wish I knitted Myrtle shawls as fast as she knits Shreddies. I wish she could be in my house to motivate me to finish the gauge swatch!
Oh dear. I hope I don’t sound like too much of a grouch, but I can’t seem to lose my horror of knitters being seen as a bunch of old–what does Christie have people call Miss Marple all the time? . . . I need to look that up. In any case, maybe I’m getting too close to an age where people might actually look at me and see an old thing hunched over her needles, memory going, not very bright. Of course Miss Marple was always smarter than people thought. I digress. It would have been an even funnier commercial if they had the likes of the Harlot and Cookie A making the squares. Or January One putting them out in glorious color!

Yeah, I was going to complain about that too, but I didn’t want to sound like a grouch either
