My baby jacket is blocking!
Monday, September 24th, 2007Tags: Baby Clothes
I spent a lot of time procrastinating on this jacket; once I got to the part where you have to seam the shoulders together, I started something else and was absorbed into the new project. Now it’s blocked, though, and I’m going to seam this together either tonight (barring additional TA preparations) or on Wednesday afternoon (hopefully). Then I can pick up for the collar and finish within the week (depending on the amount of yarn I have left over).
I’ve not been knitting as much since I started school again, and my blogging has been intermittent because of a) vacations, b) laptop disasters, and c) alternate laptops being used to store knitting photos to which I no longer have access but will eventually recover and blog about. My apologies for the blog fade, but don’t worry! I’m back now and I’ll try to keep posting on my progress.

I think red is totally the coolest baby color. Of course, it’s also my favorite color in general, so maybe I’m prejudiced….

That’s one lucky baby, for sure. It’s elegant and cheerful at the same time. Hope you get it together soon so we can all admire it.

Too cute. I’m doing my first ever cable hat, and so far I love it! Totally envious of how awesome this baby jacket looks! Can’t wait to see it seamed!
What ended up being the outcome of the sweater full of broken glass and much alcohol? (Hope I’m not in trouble for asking!)

It’s doing great! It recovered from the broken glass explosion and I’m all done weaving in the ends, so I’m hoping to block it tonight. Here’s hoping it all goes well, it’s my first sweater.

Hey, you’re at Toronto now! Nifty! We’ve got some people who just came from there.
