Saturday, Pattern Day #21
Saturday, November 17th, 2007Tags: Saturday Pattern Day
If you are knitting or have already knit a pattern that I’m talking about, leave me a comment and I’ll update my post with a link to your version. If you’ve written up a pattern and you want me to link to it, send me an email or leave me a comment and I’ll post it! It makes the list longer and my job easier.
- This Special Knitted Bear (PDF) from Cleckheaton is the bear’s knees.
- This is a beautiful Neckwarmer.
- Axel mitts. Example here.
- Here are two wonderful Medieval Egyptian Sock patterns. One is based on the ancient sock pictured in Folk Socks by Nancy Bush. A shorter example is here.
- BMG’s Footies, in which BMG stands for Bob Marley’s Grandma. Example here.
- I think I’ve seen these before but I haven’t posted them: River Rapids Socks by Sockbug (examples here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and a modification here).
- brooklyntweed has a great mod for Cap Karma that preserves the cables all the way up to the crown. Pretty!

Coincidentally, I’m wearing my River Rapids socks today. I included them in a knitting roundup post, but you can see the Flickr shot here.

Thank you so much for your Saturday, Pattern Day posts. It’s easy to feel washed away by the sea of online knitting patterns, but the way you format and briefly editorialize your posts is immensely helpful.
