I expected to be called on it. What I didn’t expect was that people would treat me with malice and call me stupid. As I said above, there is constructive criticism (which is fine) and there is aggressive and malevolent behaviour, which I will not abide.

If you meant your post as a joke, perhaps you should have said so in the beginning. There is no way to emphasize “tongue in cheek” in text unless the poster herself does it. And I get a lot of first time readers to my blog…..they dont have to KNOW me to comment on something I have said. And if I say something that sounds a bit on the anti-crochet side, UNLESS I explained it was a joke, I would expect to be called on it. So your joke didnt go over very well. I am sure you will do better next time

I don’t quite see the point in this…because people use the word more, then it’s a better hobby? And why choose to designate one as “better” than the other. Seems just silly to me.
