This cake counts as a craft!

I built a cake! In the shape of a Harrier! That counts as a craft, right?
I made it for The Beau, and I am quite proud with the end result. I aimed for “doesn’t look like a koala,” and I acheived it. It even looks vaguely like an actual Harrier.
I started out with two sheet cakes. They were horribly flat because I’d never tried the recipe before (and won’t again as I’ve learned from my baker mom that the recipe was destined to fail), but meh, that’s a learning experience. The fun part was to come!
I took a piece of paper the same size as the cake, and cut and rearranged the pieces into the shape of a harrier.
Then I put them back into a rectangle as a template for what to cut out.
These are the bits I get to eat!
Look, I even practised how to do the writing.
The frosting was a bit of a disaster as well! I whipped it for half an hour and it still kept dripping off the cake, which is why it looks like a Coffee Crisp in parts. (Canada reference!) But it tasted pretty darn swell, and after a bit of blood, sweat and tears (it thickens the frosting), it turned out great. The Beau liked it!
Yum!

I love the sparklers! Looks yummy!

Wow!! What a cake
I see an SPSS printout is being put to good use. I think you get points for even knowing that a Harrier is an airplane.
